Delta Sigma Theta Sorority,
Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard
University on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two
collegiate women. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
remains a "private, non-profit organization whose
purpose is to provide assistance and support through
established programs in local communities throughout
the world." Today, there are over 250,000 members
worldwide and over 970 chapters across the nation,
including Tokyo, Japan, the Bahamas, the Virgin
Islands, the Republic of Korea, and Germany.

Chapter Facts

The Tremendously Divine Tau Delta Chapter was Chartered on April 22, 2000 by 6 phenomenal women: Tiffany Jiles, Courtney Johnson, Shonda Monday, Venus Johnson, Dera Baskin, and Monika McKnight.
